TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.The Western Bulldogs Football Club may, where reasonably necessary, vary the terms and conditions of Western Bulldogs Football Club membership. The Western Bulldogs Football Club will communicate any change to its membership terms and conditions via the Western Bulldogs Football Club website. Members will have no claim against the Western Bulldogs Football Club by reason of any change to its membership terms and conditions.

2.PERSONAL DETAILS It is the responsibility of the member to notify the Western Bulldogs should their details change, including the issuing or withdrawal of concession status, member contact details or any relevant information that could affect their membership with the Western Bulldogs.

3.MEMBERSHIP: A NON-TRANSFERABLE PRODUCT The Western Bulldogs membership card is issued for personal use only and remains the property of the Western Bulldogs. Membership cards may not be sold, exploited for commercial use, or used for promotional purposes or campaigns without the express written permission of the Western Bulldogs.

4.LOST/STOLEN MEMBERSHIP CARDS Should a membership card be misplaced or stolen a replacement fee of $10 is payable prior to the reprinting and sending of the replacement membership card. To arrange for a membership card to be reprinted and barcode number cancelled, please contact Membership Services on 1300 46 3647. Please note that membership cards cannot be replaced on match day. However, if you need to gain entry to the Stadium, please see the membership team located at Gate 5 (Marvel Stadium) for assistance.

5.REPLACEMENT GAMES Home Game, Long Distance and 3 Game season members unable to attend Western Bulldogs interstate and Ballarat home games may attend replacement games as designated by the Club. Access to replacement games is general admission only and any member with a reserved seat membership will not have access to their seat for the replacement game. Please see for more details regarding which matches have been selected by the Club as the replacement games.

6.GENERAL ADMISSION ACCESS TO MATCHES Access to matches is not guaranteed. Access is subject to capacity and you are encouraged to reserve a seat to guarantee entry, particularly at high demand matches. Members will be required to pay additional fees and charges when reserving a seat. Access may be gained to unreserved seating on a first-come first served basis subject to availability and members can upgrade to a reserved seat at the venue for an additional fee (subject to availability). Matches will be categorised by anticipated demand to give you indication on how to best access the game with your membership. Please see for details regarding match categories and how to obtain reserved seating. The Western Bulldogs do not guarantee that tickets will be available to all members for all matches.

7.JUNIOR POLICY Children under the age of six as at 1st January can enter the venue free of charge, however they must not occupy a seat where seats are at a premium. Children over the age of six, and under the age of 15 as at 1st January, will be required to obtain a junior membership.

8.CONCESSION POLICY In order to apply for a concession membership, you will be required to provide photocopy evidence of your concession status. Valid concession types include a stamped, receipted 2019 enrolment form from an appropriate educational institution or a 2019 student card, clearly identifying the member as a full-time student for the entire season, aged, single parent or disability pension card, veteran affairs card and TPI. All other concession types, including Health Care Cards, are not an accepted form of concession for membership. As a student, you can defer your payment until 31st March 2019 when you have your concession documentation. If you choose to do this, you will be unable to utilise any of your membership benefits until payment is made. Please contact Membership Services should you wish to defer payment. Students who choose to renew their membership at the adult rate will be required to lodge their student discount refund request by close of business on 1st May 2019. Refund requests received after this time will not be accepted. 

9.YOUTH POLICY Youths over the age of 15, and under the age of 18 as at 1st January, will be eligible for a youth membership.

10.FAMILY MEMBERSHIP A standard family membership is inclusive of two adults and two juniors (as per junior policy), two adults and two youths (as per youth policy) or two adults, one youth and one junior. Additional juniors or youths can be added to any family package at a reduced cost.

11.LONG DISTANCE DISCOUNT Western Bulldogs members living more than 120km from Marvel Stadium are eligible for a Long Distance membership. When applying for the discount for the first time, you will need to supply proof of residency (for example, copy of your rates notice, gas bill etc) to establish the authenticity of your address and application. PO boxes without supporting documentation will not be accepted. Long Distance members living outside of Victoria are entitled to one (1) free ticket to one (1) game in their state. To redeem this ticket, the member must contact Western Bulldogs Membership Services on 1300 46 3647 to attend a Western Bulldogs game in their state (subject to availability). Ticket orders should be placed by members 4-6 weeks prior to the game.

12. RESERVED SEAT PACKAGES Current reserved seat ticket holders will be required to renew their membership prior to 5pm on Friday 7th December 2018 to retain their reserved seat package. After this date, all reserved seats that have not been renewed will be released for general sale and the Western Bulldogs Football Club cannot guarantee that same reserved seat can be allocated as per previous years. Seating areas at Marvel Stadium are subject to change and to minimise the number of vacant seats in the stadium, the Western Bulldogs Football Club reserves the right to move a member left or right within the same row without contacting members. Any reserved seats that remain unsold will be released back to Ticketmaster the week of the game and made available for the general public to purchase as a single ticket

13.BALLARAT MEMBERSHIP Members must hold either a 4 Game Ballarat or 2 Game Ballarat add-on membership to gain access to home matches at Mars Stadium as part of their membership. To hold a 4 Game Ballarat membership, members must reside in one of the eligible Local Government Areas (LGA’s). Ballarat members must use their Ballarat membership card to scan in to Mars Stadium.

 14.EJ WHITTEN SOCIAL CLUB EJ Whitten Social Club memberships are limited and subject to capacity. EJ Whitten Social Club members must hold a membership which entitles access to 5 games or higher. Should current EJ Whitten Social Club  members not renew prior to 5pm on Friday 7th December 2018, EJ Whitten Social Club memberships will be released and made available to members for purchase until capacity is met. 

15.TOYOTA AFL FINALS SERIES (WEEKS 1 TO 3) Western Bulldogs members with game day entitlements are given priority access (over non-members) to purchase a ticket to Toyota AFL Finals Series matches. Toyota AFL Finals Series matches are administered by the AFL with the core advantage to Western Bulldogs members being a priority access period for the opportunity to purchase a ticket to the game (subject to participation) before the general public. The priority access period is also extended to members of the other competing Club. Neither the Club nor its members have the same rights as they receive for Home and Away Games and members who hold a reserved seat package will be unable to retain their annual reserved seat. To be eligible for finals tickets you must join as a member prior to 5pm on Monday 29th July 2019.

16.TOYOTA AFL GRAND FINAL Should the Western Bulldogs qualify to participate in the 2019 Toyota AFL Grand Final, the Western Bulldogs Football Club will communicate information relating to the Grand Final to members once arrangements are finalised should we be participating in finals. This will include information regarding accessing a Grand Final ticket. This information will be communicated via email and posted on www.westernbulldogs.com.au. It is the responsibility of the member to ensure that their contact information is correct and that they have familiarised themselves with this information. Those members with Priority/Guaranteed Access through holding EJ Whitten Social Club membership as part of their membership will be required to follow the appropriate procedures as communicated by the Club in order to secure their ticket. Members who do not follow the procedure as outlined by the Club will forfeit their right to access a ticket.

17.AFL MEMBERSHIP Should the Western Bulldogs participate in the 2019 Toyota AFL Grand Final, AFL Full Members will be required to purchase tickets through the AFL Reserve allocation. Conversely, AFL Silver Members who upgrade to an EJ Whitten Social Club membership will have access to purchase Toyota AFL Grand Final ticketing via the EJ Whitten Social Club allocation as they do not have access to purchase tickets through the AFL Reserve allocation.

18. CANCELLATION POLICY Exchanges or refunds are not available on memberships or additional products purchased. If a Western Bulldogs member wishes to cancel their membership product, an opt out form must be completed and returned to Membership Services via email to membership@westernbulldogs.com.au, via post to PO Box 4112 DC, West Footscray VIC 3012 or in person at Victoria University Whitten Oval. If the fulfilment items have been sent prior to the request for cancellation, the membership product will not be refunded. The Western Bulldogs Football Club reserves the right to cancel a membership without refund to any member that breaches the terms and conditions of membership. Any membership cancelled by the Western Bulldogs will result in consecutive years of membership being ceased.

19.VOTING RIGHTS Only ordinary, life or full (Social Club) members whose name appears on the Official Register of Members as of 1st June each year, and who are over the age of 18, shall be eligible to vote at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The Club’s AGM is usually held in late December, and notification of the meeting is placed in the sporting pages of Melbourne's Herald Sun newspaper and on www.westernbulldogs.com.au.

20.MEMBERS PRIVACY All personal information you provide will be used by the Western Bulldogs Football Club, AFL and on behalf of selected third parties in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This may include promotional and direct marketing purposes and other disclosures as specified in our Privacy Policy found at www.westernbulldogs.com.au/privacy. By providing your personal information, you agree to such use. Your personal information will be kept securely and confidentially. Although you may choose not to provide us with certain information, please be aware that this choice may affect the quality of service we can provide to you.

21.MEMBERS DISCOUNT Members will receive a 10% discount on selected items from the Bulldogs Shop online and at Victoria University Whitten Oval. The discount is to be given at the Club’s discretion.

 

AUSKICK TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Auskick Junior Membership is a bonuc 4 game General Admission access memberships provided to each 2018 Comminity/Club NAB AFL Auskick participant who opts into receiving an AFL Club membership at the time of registration, by nominating his/her AFL Club of support (Club).

If a recipient of the Auskick Junior Membership elects to change the Club orginially selected, the original Club membership will be cancelled. A new Club membership will only be provided if the original Club membership was not used.

An Auskick Junior Membership card will be included in the Auskick Benefits pack and mailed to the participant by the AFL after payment has been received.

Auskick Junior Membership are not transferable, cannot be resold and are non-refundable.

Auskick Junior Memberships are subject to all other terms and conditions of the Club's membership.

The Club and/or AFL reserves the right to cancel any Auskick Junior Membership without a refund where a member is deemed by the Club and/or AFL to have breached these terms and conditions.

COMMITTED BULLDOG

  1. Committed Bulldog payment plan payments will be deducted in 10 equal instalments for existing members and in 6 equal monthly instalments for new members on the 28th of each month, beginning on 29th October via a nominated VISA or MasterCard only.
     
  2. By signing with the Committed Bulldog payment plan, you authorise the Western Bulldogs to arrange a debit of funds from your nominated credit card in amounts and at intervals as advised.
     
  3. Subject to members opting out in accordance with item 4, all members on the Committed Bulldog payment plan are automatically included into an Auto Renewal Agreement, facilitating automatic rollover of your memberships from year to year.
     
  4. Members can only opt out of the Committed Bulldog payment plan during the period between the conclusion of their last instalment for the current season and the first instalment for the following season, by notifying the Western Bulldogs Membership Support Team by using the OPT OUT FORM. All outstanding payments must be complete at the time of opting out. You will receive a notification from the Western Bulldogs at least 14 days prior to the first instalment of the following season alerting you to the fact your membership will be auto-renewed in accordance with item 3 above, unless you opt out in accordance with this item 4.
     
  5. Members will be given at least 14 days’ notice in writing of any changes to the payment amount of their next season's membership or to the terms and conditions of the Committed Bulldog payment plan agreement.
     
  6. If any payment fails to transfer between institutions on the Committed Bulldog payment plan, further attempts will be made to attempt to clear the fund transfer.
     
  7. Members applying for the Committed Bulldog payment plan after the first scheduled payment will have the number of required payments deducted to bring them up to date with the schedule and then subsequent payments at each specified date.
     
  8. If your debit is returned or dishonoured by your financial institution, an <email/letter/SMS> will be sent to your nominated contact address, email and/or contact number requesting immediate payment. Any fees levied to you by your financial institution will be payable by you.
     
  9. Western Bulldogs may immediately suspend or cancel your membership if your drawing is dishonoured by your financial institution. Western Bulldogs will notify you in writing to your nominated contact address or email if we suspend or cancel your Committed Bulldog payment plan arrangement.
     
  10. It is your responsibility to ensure that: (a) the account details you have provided are correct and up to date for the duration of your Committed Bulldog payment plan arrangement; and (b) you have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account on the scheduled drawing date.
     
  11. If your Membership is suspended or cancelled, you will not be able to gain access to any matches during the AFL Premiership Season or the Finals Series.
     
  12. If you believe that a withdrawal has been initiated incorrectly, please contact the Western Bulldogs Membership Support Team on 1300 46 36 47. You will receive a full refund of the withdrawal amount if a withdrawal has been made incorrectly and the Western Bulldogs cannot substantiate the reason for the withdrawal.

CODE OF CONDUCT

1. As a member of the Western Bulldogs Football Club, I will conduct myself in way which contributes to Western Bulldogs events being family-friendly enjoyable experiences for all who attend - this means refraining from engaging in disruptive and/or violent behaviour, foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.

2. I will not engage in nor endorse any form of vilification on the basis of race, gender, religion, ethnicity, age or sexuality.

3. While at Western Bulldogs games and events, I will not engage in conduct that could bring the Club or the game of Australian rules football into disrepute.

4. In any forum, including in the media, where I am acting as a Western Bulldogs Member or am identifiable as a Bulldogs Member, I will not engage in conduct that could bring the Club or Australian rules football into disrepute.

5. As a Western Bulldogs member, I have the right to hold and express robust views about our Club, our Board, Club Management and employees; and our players and team, but I will not display behaviour and language that is abusive or malicious.

6. Should I breach any of the above conditions of membership, I understand the Club has the right to act in the following ways:
- Provide compulsory education sessions to correct any behaviours that are in conflict of the Code of Conduct
- Temporarily suspend membership until conflicting behaviours are resolved
- Revoke membership rights and privileges permanently should the Club deem the offence necessary of such action
